Attorney Lucy Lu Attends 2024 Annual Wisconsin Solo/Small Firm General Practice Conference

Attorney Lucy Lu recently attended the 2024 Annual Wisconsin Solo/Small Firm General Practice Conference in The Wisconsin Dells, an event aimed at small and solo law firms, which she received a full scholarship during the registration process. WSSFC provided three total scholarships to conference attendees this year, and attorney Lu was one of them. Lucy was chosen due to her “enthusiasm and dedication to the profession of law and best practice of law in Wisconsin” as WSSFC stated in her acceptance email.

The 2024 Annual Wisconsin Solo/Small Firm General Practice Conference featured multiple presenters providing information surrounding immigration law, which is a welcome change from previous years, Lucy mentioned. As a frequent presenter covering various topics across immigration law herself, Lucy also remarked that, more and more attorneys in other areas of practice began to realize the impact of their clients’ immigration status, which can affect case outcome from business law, family law and employment law perspective.
